FBK is located in Povo, a suburb of Trento on a hill to the east of
the city center.
In the following some indications on how to reach FBK-irst from the center of Trento.
By Bus Bus 5: This is generally the quickest option, about 10
minutes. Board at the Piazza Dante-Stazione FS or Piazza Venezia. Get
off at Povo-Facoltà di Scienze (immediately after the blue "Povo" sign
after passing a round-about). Timetables and itineraries are listed at
the bus stops. Tickets must be purchased at a tobacconist or a
newspaper shop before boarding the bus.
Bus 13: This bus takes significantly longer to reach FBK, but may be
convenient if you are in the south of Trento. Get off in the middle of
Povo and walk down the hill. Timetables and itineraries are listed at

By Taxi
There is a taxi service in front of the Railway station
(Tel. +39-0461-235383) or Radio Taxi service
(Tel. +39-0461-930002). It costs arount 10-15 Euros from downtown
Trento to Povo.
By Car (See also the Map)
Trento is situated along the A22 Brenner motorway. Get off at Trento
"Centro". Exit and follow the (blue) indications to Padova (motorway
SS47). Exit the motorway to the right when you see the indication
"Trento Est" and "Povo" entering in "via Bassano". Exit "via Bassano"
to the left immediately after the first tunnel. Then turn immediately
to the right down the road that descends steeply. Follow the winding
road about 400 meters to a roundabout and cross over a bridge. Follow
this road (Via Mesiano) about 2 km to a roundabout, and take the third
right turn. Go 200 meters. FBK-irst is the building inside the blue fence.
