           readme : NEVER TURN IN A WORD DOCUMENT, .ps is ok, .pdf is better
                    design and motivation
                    if not working, detailed status
                    how to compile and run your application

            Thinking in Java book in pdf in cs290E directory
            Use the Java API!
            Write incrementally, even write little test apps first

            telnet 23

            realAudio 7070
            
        Typically available ports: above 1024
        
        multicast 
          224.0.0.0 to 239.255.255.255 available
          224.0.0.0 is reserved
          choose address in this range
             e.g., 224.1.1.10
             Lime uses 230.0.0.1:6000
          choose port

        Queue.java

Turning it:
    email to cs290e@csug.rochester.edu (only 2 so far)
    /u/cs290e/bin/TURN_IN dir_name
    subdirectories will be traversed, do not turn in your entire home
       directory!!!
    you will see a confirmation message
    if it fails, send email, if you are "down to the wire" email a .tar.gz
